I designed and developed an interactive map for dog-friendly spots across San Francisco, CA. The map visualizes cafés and restaurants where dogs are offered amenities like water bowls, treats, and dedicated menus, as well as dog-friendly parks and beaches for dogs to play.

Using D3.js, I built a custom geospatial visualization with zoom and pan functionality, emoji-based markers, and dynamic filtering that allows users to explore locations by amenities and place type. Clicking on each marker reveals contextual details through a tooltip, helping users quickly understand what makes each spot special.

This project focuses on making data both functional and delightful, combining clear interaction design with a playful visual language to reflect the joyful experience of exploring the city with a dog.
